  • St. Patricks Day!

So I made mini cupcakes last night. I will take any excuse I can get to bake . They turned out pretty good, although the frosting was really drippy and got everywhere.

It was really sunny and warm outside. I wonder if that's why I was in such a good mood today.. Either that or the leprechauns..

So it took me an hour yesterday, and four total hours today just to cut out the pattern pieces. What have I gotten myself into? Oh well, it'll be an interesting experience.

  • rejection

No matter who it is who does it, it stills hurts like hell to be discarded. It can be an ex with whom you had serious issues,  a new interest who you didn't really know all that well. It's not an "I dont like you", that hurts, it's the "I do like you... But I like her more..." that does. The worst part is when you find out who the other person is. It hurts when they like eachother mutually and start dating, but it's worse when she doesn't like him back. Not only does he pick someone else, but he picks someone who he will probably never be with, anyways. And you wonder if he'll keep longing after her forever, or he'll find rejection. And if he does find out, will he suddenly want you now? Would you even want to be his second pick?

  • Bullies

I was waiting for the activity bus (bus that leaves at 4pm) after school today with my boyfriend, when this random freshman, who knows my bf, starts randomly insulting us. When I was younger I was teased a lot and being insulted by my own peers took a hard hit to my self-esteem. I couldn't help but laugh out loud at this silly freshman's attempts to belittle someone 2 years older and smarter. He couldn't stand being laughed at so he started to insult my laugh. I laughed harder and he tried to drone me out with random chanting. His antics were so below me that I almost couldn't believe I used to actually believe the crap that bullies would say, no matter how ridiculous it now seems. I was not the only one who felt this way; two other guys my age nearby told him he was acting like a child.

On the bus, he continued his antics to no end. I ignored him but he interrupted my conversation. I eventually just ended up saying, "Go on and insult me if it helps you sleep better at night that you belittle others to make yourself feel better." before exiting the bus. Some people just never grow up, it seems.
